We all know that Kol dies several times during the series, but when does he come back? As a counter-hero and anti-hero, his appearance in the series is essential to the plotline. But why has Kol always died and is he finally coming back? Is he ready to re-join the Mikaelson family? Or is he a minor antagonist? Let’s look at this question from several angles.
Kol dies many times before the series’ end
As the anti-hero of The Vampire Diaries, Kol is often a minor antagonist. Despite being a recurring character, he was one of the series’ most memorable characters. His hexed death and sentance to the Other Side have sparked countless fan theories and discussions. Despite countless deaths in the series, Kol eventually mends relationships with Klaus and Rebekah.
As for the series, Kol has already died nine times. He was originally dead and brought back as a witch, but later resurrected in his original body because of a curse from his brother Finn. His death is also an interesting development in that it marks the end of Rebekah’s storyline. However, the series’ main character Jeremy Gilbert, who plays Kol, dies twice – once accidentally and once after a hex from the witch.
Before being turned into a vampire, Kol was close to his family. He was a prodigy with magic, and he was the only sibling who possessed it. During his life as a vampire, he hated losing his magic. He was able to use it to his advantage, but it cost him his humanity and family. This explains his violent behavior, and also the many deaths before the series’ end.
When Kol first became a vampire, he wore clothes from the early twentieth century. His appearance reflects the sartorial tastes of his family, and his brother Klaus shares the same taste in clothing. Kol’s clothing is often darker than Klaus’s, ranging from casual-button down shirts to stylish jackets. He also wore many shades of brown and gray. This is also the color of his hair.
He is a minor antagonist
As the young witch Kaleb Westphall, Kol returns to the series, accompanied by his brother Finn and his mother who returned at the end of season one. Kol seeks revenge on his brothers, Klaus and Elijah, and helps his mother plot his revenge, but he also gets close to Davina, who he helps by showing off his powers. He tries to keep his true identity a secret from his mother, Mikael, until Klaus and the rest of the group find out.
In season four, Kol is a minor antagonist. Davina, who was killed by the Ancestors, reunites with Kol. The Ancestors then try to manipulate Kol, but he is able to free her and propose to her. The show also introduces a new antagonist, Sophie Deveraux, who was introduced in the backdoor pilot. However, her appearance in the series is brief and reveals nothing about Kol’s past.
The appearance of Kol in season four has many implications. Despite his small role in the first season, he is a significant character. He tries to kill Jeremy and Elena, but Bonnie intervenes and saves them. Moreover, he also compels Damon to kill Jeremy and imprisons Stefan in a dungeon. Ultimately, Kol is a minor antagonist when he comes back.
Despite being a major antagonist, Kol is also a minor antagonist in the second season. He is the only villain who is not responsible for Klaus’s death. Davina is a vampire, and Klaus’s bite reveals the vampire’s true identity. Davina also makes a decision to confront her brother, and Klaus is bitten by her. In the next episode, the two reunite with each other.
He is a counter-hero
Kol is a character that is featured in the prequel webisode series, The Awakening, as a protagonist. He previously starred in the TV series The Vampire Diaries as an antagonist and, for a brief period, as an anti-hero. The character is played by Nathaniel Buzolic and Daniel Sharman. It was unknown whether Kol is a true vampire or just a character with a dark fantasy side.
After being cast out of his body after killing his vessel, Kol comes back as a ghost. His feelings for Davina Claire were buried when he was in her body, but his spirit stayed in the witches’ Ancestral Plane. The Ancestors did not revere him, and Kol was tormented by them. As such, his appearance in the film is a counter-hero to those who believed he was a true witch.
Before turning into a vampire, Kol was close to his family. He had an incredible gift with magic and was the only one of his siblings who was able to tap into it. While he loved this power, he hated the fact that it was taken away from him. Even after his return to life, Kol is still the best of the three siblings. This is one of the reasons why he is such a counter-hero.
If the Original Vampire had come back as a human, it would be impossible for him to defeat the originals. But his ability to fight was so strong that he killed twelve of them without getting a scratch. In fact, one of the vampires was a newborn. This shows that Kol is a great fighter and a counter-hero. The character even had the ability to grapple and counter, making him a dangerous opponent.
He is an anti-hero
Despite his many flaws, Kol is an anti-hero when compared to his earlier appearance. Before he was a vampire, Kol was practically indestructible, and his bloodlust was powerful, but that never stopped him from feeding on humans. Despite this, his behavior was more sympathetic when compared to when he was possessed by Kaleb. His cynicism was evident in his comments about modern music and culture, but his ego was still a problem. When he first became a witch, Kol also showed a love of magic, and his new body was a figment of his imagination.
While he may have acted out of compassion for others, his motivations were often more selfish, or aimed at revenge. These are the classic types of anti-heroes, and their motivations are often self-serving. While fighting alongside heroes, they have their own beliefs and goals, and pay back the villains for their wrongdoing. When Kol comes back as a hero, he will essentially be a hero.
The anti-hero in literature has roots in mythology and ancient Greece. In ancient Greece, the anti-hero was often a delusion or apathetic misfit. Unlike his hero counterpart, the anti-hero has an ambiguous past and struggles with both mental and spiritual conflicts. The anti-hero may grow in character mentally and spiritually, while he still does things for the sake of doing the right thing.
Like a real-life anti-hero, the anti-hero can be a comic relief or the token villain of a heroic character. These heroes are not afraid to question authority and may perform questionable deeds for the greater good. This character type is often associated with the color red. This color is associated with the anti-hero’s violent personality, and anti-hero movies often feature a red-headed criminal, serial killer, or self-destructive hero.
He is a witch
The premise of the novel is simple: a vampire who had lost his humanity reverts to his former self to get back his power. While he initially reverted to his former self, Kol reveals that his love for Davina had helped him change and become a better person. His loss of humanity led him to embrace the dark side of his nature and turn vile. Kol’s return to his former self was sabotaged by The Ancestors, and he kills Davina to regain his humanity.
This episode also introduces the character of Kol, who has a history of nine lives on The Originals. When The Vampire Diaries ended, Kol was dead. His brother Finn cursed him and brought him back to life, but he is not alone. His new life is a gift from his new family and he is determined to live up to his heritage. But Kol is not a simple vampire. He is an incredibly powerful fighter. He has killed 12 vampires without being scratched. Some of those vampires were babies!
Despite the fact that he is a vampire, Kol reverts to his former identity as a witch, a move that has shocked fans of the series. As he attempts to escape from his former life, he encounters Rebekah, who is also a vampire. Rebekah asks Kol to save her from this fate, but he refuses. While Finn is a vampire, his mother is a witch.
While attempting to save Davina, Marcel and Josh’s fates, the two are not yet in sync. Davina meets Kaleb in a disc store, and the two bond. Mikael helps Elijah fight the wolves and tries to save Davina. Davina runs off to a cabin to hide and asks Mikael to teach her self-defense. She later summons Kaleb to heal her and help her save her father.
