In Oracle applications, user profiles define which subset of an organization‚s data an end user sees. These options are indistinguishable from the options provided by the Oracle Application Object Library. The options that define the user profile are organized in a hierarchical structure, with the highest level being User, followed by Responsibility and then User. Options at a higher level override options at a lower level.
Responsibility
If you‚re trying to manage the roles and responsibilities of your users in Oracle apps, you can set these options from the backend. You can set the options at different levels, including Site, Application, and Responsibility. Depending on your needs, you can also change the settings at the User level.
